Respondus has given us an opportunity to upload questions and surveys directly into the test areas of Blackboard. It has saved us a lot of time and with every version the changes have been welcomed to make it easier and more user friendly. The ability to upload a test with numerous questions at once is very use

Staffroom’s biggest benefit to us is that our whole school is on one system. We have cancelled out an immense paper trail and the whole school database is available at a glance. We are also able to produce reports quickly.

Stellenbosch University has been using Turnitin for a number of years, and the usage has grown from a small start to the point where it has become an indispensable tool. The value for the university is not in catching out students who copy and paste text or plagiarise in other ways, but in students learning academic norms, learning the value of correctly using and referencing other sources. It is about guidance and learning by example.

Eiffel Corp and Turnitin’s responses are efficient and meet our needs. Turnitin has helped teachers and students to identify plagiarism. The girls at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls are aware of the Turnitin process and so have learnt to write without plagiarising. This benefits the girls at school and will help them at university to ensure that they write without plagiarising.

Cultivate Innovation Africa was the best managed, highest level Blackboard event I have had the pleasure of attending. I look forward to my continued relationship with Eiffel Corp.

Blackboard gives us a robust LMS, with support, which does not place additional pressure on our IT department. E-learning remains firmly in the sector of teaching and learning and has not been farmed out to the IT department, which has little or no experience in teaching and learning. With Eiffel Corp and Blackboard we have a match made in heaven – we provide the creative input and they provide the IT muscle.

I can (and do) recommend the programme to colleagues at other institutions. The big plus is that it gives individual teachers a high degree of autonomy. They can have info at their fingertips in their classrooms and at home. Your continued, excellent after-sales service is highly valued.

I fully endorse Turnitin. It has given me time back that I can spend with my family.
